In situ
In situ means:
- in relation to a facility that contains asbestos — that the asbestos was fixed or installed in the facility:
- before 1 January 2005; and
- in such a way that the asbestos does not constitute a risk to any person unless the asbestos is disturbed; and
- in relation to an item of plant — that the asbestos was fixed or installed in the item of plant:
- before 1 January 2005; and
- in such a way that the asbestos does not constitute a risk to any person unless the asbestos is disturbed.
