Non-Hazardous Area

Area in which an explosive atmosphere is not expected to be present in quantities such as to require special precautions for the construction, installation and use of equipment.

Non-Hazardous Area

Area in which an explosive gas atmosphere is not expected to be present in quantities such as to require special precautions for the construction, installation and use of apparatus. [IEV 426-03-02, modified]

Non-Hazardous Area

Any area not classified as Zone 0, 1 or 2 and deemed to be non-hazardous with respect to the absence of any possibility of occurrence of a flammable atmosphere.

Non-Hazardous Area
