Activity In Connection With An Installation

Any reference in these Regulations to an activity in connection with an installation is a reference to any activity in connection with an installation, or any activity which is immediately preparatory thereto, whether carried on from the installation itself, in or from a vessel or in any other manner, other than—

  1. transporting, towing or navigating the installation; and
  2. any activity in or from a vessel which is ready to give assistance in the event of an emergency on or near the installation.
