Cellar

Excavation around the wellhead to provide space for items of equipment at the top of the wellbore.

Cellar

A pit beneath the rig floor to provide additional height between the rig floor and the wellhead and to allow the installation of the bops / rotating head / rotating diverter, rat hole mouse hole etc.
