Condensate

Light hydrocarbon liquid obtained by condensation of hydrocarbon vapors. Consists of varying proportions of butane, propane, pentane, and heavier fractions with little or no ethane or methane.

Condensate

“Condensate” means a liquid hydrocarbon which:

  1. Was produced as a liquid at the surface,
  2. Existed as gas in the reservoir, and
  3. Has an API gravity greater than or equal to fifty degrees, unless otherwise proven.

Condensate
