Dive Supervisor

A dive supervisor shall be a diver who is not necessarily fit to dive provided that a level of fitness required for the responsibilities undertaken is maintained. The dive supervisor will be trained and experienced in the dive techniques and equipment being used in the dive operation. He or she will be appointed in writing by the employer, will be on site at all times and will also hold appropriate first aid qualifications in the management of diving-related medical problems relevant to the level of diving operation being carried out.
