Elementary neutralization unit
A device consisting of a tank, tank system, container, transport vehicle, or vessel that is used for neutralizing wastes that are hazardous wastes:
- only because they exhibit the characteristic of corrosivity under the test referred to in subsection (e)(1)(D)(ii) of this section (relating to characteristically hazardous wastes); or
- they are identified in subsection (e)(1)(D)(i) of this section (relating to listed hazardous wastes) only because they exhibit the corrosivity characteristic.
