Interpretation
Norms for fulfilling the associated principle requirements as defined by other regulatory bodies on matters which are left to the satisfaction of the flag administration or are vaguely worded. These do not preclude the use of other alternative solutions but these shall be documented and approved for compliance to the principal requirement equivalent to the original interpretation.
