Load-transfer devices

Load-transfer devices provide an arrangement for transferring the loads from the flexible pipe to the topside connection. The load-transfer device may incorporate collars, clamps or flanges, and may interface with the flexible pipe end fitting or the bend stiffener interface structure. The load-transfer device can be pulled in through the I/J-tube of a vessel whereby a male assembly locks into a female receptacle in the I/J-tube.
