Lubricator
A fabricated length of tubular pipe equipped with a packoff and bleed valve that is installed to provide access while working on a well under pressure with wireline or other tools and equipment.

Lubricator
“Lubricator” sometimes called a bottle, means a special length of casing or tubing placed temporarily above a valve on the top of the casing or tubing head used to run tools or substances into a producing well without having to kill it. [Mich. Admin. Code R 408 (2013)].
