MoC

The management of change (MoC) process identifies risks arising from changes. It manages these risks before and during execution of the changes, thus ensuring they do not inadvertently increase risk from existing or new conditions, hazards, impacts, exposures or threats.

MoC can apply to process changes (hardware or process conditions), procedural changes and organisational changes. The process includes steps for review and authorization prior to implementation, as well as steps to ensure that the change is communicated and pertinent documents are kept up to date.
