Most Probable Maximum Extreme

Value of the maximum of a variable with the highest probability of occurring over a defined period of time. NOTE 1 A defined period of time can be, for example, X hours. NOTE 2 The most probable maximum extreme is the value for which the probability density function of the maxima of the variable has its peak.
