Offshore petroleum operations
Offshore petroleum operations has the meaning given by section 643 of the Act.

Offshore petroleum operations
Offshore petroleum operations means any regulated operations (including diving operations) that:
- relate to:
- the exploration for petroleum; or
- the recovery, processing, storage, offloading or piped conveyance of petroleum; and
- if the operations are diving operations—take place in NOPSEMA waters; and
- if the operations are not diving operations—take place:
- in NOPSEMA waters; and
- at a facility.
