Permit

A written document authorizing a work activity and defining the conditions under which the work shall be conducted. Normally signed by both the recipient and an issuing competent person with authority to allow the activity to take place.

Permit

An entry permit is a written or printed document provided by the employer or authorizing entity to allow and control entry into a permit space which contains the information specified in 6.2 [and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146(f) or equivalent].

Permit

“Permit” means an exploratory oil and gas permit issued pursuant to regulations made in accordance with the Territorial Lands Act and the Public Lands Grants Act and includes an exploration agreement entered into under the Canada Oil and Gas Land Regulations and any exploration agreement or licence that is subject to the Canada Petroleum Resources Act; permis.
