Pipe Ram

A closing and sealing component in a ram blowout preventer that seals around the ouside diameter of a tubular in the wellbore.

Pipe Ram

Pipe Rams

“Pipe ram” means a large valve which is usually installed above the ram preventers and which forms a seal in the annular space between the pipe and wellbore.
