Quality Plan

A document specifying the processes of the quality management system (including the product realization processes) and the resources to be applied to a specific product, project or contract, can be referred to as a quality plan.

Quality Plan

A document derived from the quality programme setting out the specific quality practices, special processes, resources and activities relevant to a particular unit or series of similar units. This document will also indicate the stages at which, as a minimum, direct survey and/or system monitoring will be carried out by the Classification Surveyor.
