Reasonable Foreseeable Events

The reasonably foreseeable events that have been derived from reviewing the hazards and event development scenarios in the Safety and Health documents or to identify those for which it is reasonably foreseeable that people will end up in the water are as follows;
1. Man Overboard
2. Helicopter emergency
3. Fire/Explosion on the installation
4. Well Blow out
5. Ship Collision
Each reasonably foreseeable event is described in detail in Appendix 3. It includes a statement of the maximum number of people who could end up in the water and their clothing/survival equipment assembly.
