Routine operations:
Routine operations, for the purposes of subpart F, mean any of the following operations conducted on a well with the tree installed:
- Cutting paraffin;
- Removing and setting pump-through-type tubing plugs, gas-lift valves, and subsurface safety valves that can be removed by wireline operations;
- Bailing sand;
- Pressure surveys;
- Swabbing;
- Scale or corrosion treatment;
- Caliper and gauge surveys;
- Corrosion inhibitor treatment;
- Removing or replacing subsurface pumps;
- Through-tubing logging (diagnostics);
- Wireline fishing;
- Setting and retrieving other subsurface flow-control devices; and
- Acid treatments.
