Slick Joint

Riser joint of standard length without attached buoyancy.

Slick Joint

Special riser joint designed to prevent damage to the riser and control umbilical where they pass through the rotary table. NOTE Usually included in C/WO risers and is sometimes named “cased wear joint”.
