Major Fire

In these Rules ‘major fire’ has not been defined. As the rules are goal based, it is the responsibility of the operator to classify the fire incident and report accordingly. Obviously, the classification has to be based on consequences; potential for property & environment damage / endangering safety of personnel etc. of the fire incident. The operator may be required, if regulator so desires, to provide the basis for his classification.
