Mine

In this article “mine” has the same meaning as in the Mines and Quarries Act 1954(1) (“the 1954 Act”).

Mine

“Mine” means any excavation for the purpose of searching for or obtaining mineral oils and includes an oil-well.

Mine

In these regulations, the term mine means—
(a) a metalliferous mine; or
(b) an opencast coal mine; or
(c) an underground coal mine.
