Mobile Installation

Detailed guidance on the definition of ‘installation’ is set out in guidance to MAR, regulation 3; this includes guidance on when a mobile installation becomes, or ceases to be, an installation.

Mobile Installation

“Mobile installation” means an installation (other than a floating production platform) which can be moved from place to place without major dismantling or modification, whether or not it has its own motive power.
